3rd graders had their annual Engineering day! A local engineer, Vanessa Hoene from Morrison-Maierle, came in to teach us more about what engineers do and the process they use to design and build. Our students made safe pathways for animals and showed great teamwork and collaboration. A fun afternoon for all!

Our 4th-grade and RISE students had an incredible opportunity to visit the Riley Arena Ice Rink as part of our commitment to standards-based learning. Experiences like these extend learning beyond the classroom walls, allowing students to apply skills in real-world settings while building teamwork, perseverance, and confidence.
We believe meaningful, real-world experiences help create lifelong memories and lifelong learners. Opportunities like this show students how academic standards connect to the world around them and reinforce the importance of collaboration, goal setting, and community engagement.
